Install AllRound Invoice on a network

One of the greatest features of AllRound Invoice is the possibility to install it on a newtork, making it possible to access the software from multiple conputers, even over the internet.

When installing the program you may use the default location (program files). This is perfect for single user or for client/server installation because it separates program and data, which is how Vista and Windows 7 prefers it.

This, however, makes it difficult to make a peer-peer network (the program run from another pc cannot find the data).

If you instead install it in another location, ex. c:\ARI the program will put both program and data in this place.

Then you share c:\ARI and from other pc’s just make a shortcut to c:\ARI\ARI.exe.

You may need to put your logo file in c:\ on all the pc’s to get it working.

Please only use this method with wired connection as wireless is not recommended here. If you prefer wireless, you should use a client/server instead.
